Compliance Guide

Before signing with any athlete agent — including GFHR Sports — South Carolina law requires you to understand the following. We believe transparency is the foundation of every great relationship.

⚠ Eligibility Warning

SIGNING AN ATHLETE AGENT CONTRACT MAY MAKE YOU INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN INTERCOLLEGIATE SPORTS. Before signing a contract with an athlete agent, you are encouraged to seek advice from your institution's athletic director. You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days of signing.

📋 72-Hour Athletic Director Notice

Under South Carolina law, both the athlete and the agent must notify the athlete's athletic director of the existence of any agency contract within 72 hours of signing — or before the athlete's next scheduled athletic event, whichever comes first. GFHR Sports will fulfill this obligation on your behalf and assist you in understanding this requirement.

📅 14-Day Cancellation Right

You have the right to cancel any agency contract with GFHR Sports within 14 days of signing without penalty. Cancellation must be made in writing. This right is guaranteed under SC Code § 59-102-100.

🏫 High School Athletes

South Carolina NIL law applies to collegiate athletes only — specifically those who have graduated from high school and are enrolled or eligible to compete at a college or university. High school athletes may use our free player card and directory tools for recruiting purposes, but no agency contract will be executed until the athlete has graduated from high school and enrolled at a collegiate institution.

💰 Agent Compensation

Under SC law, agent compensation for NIL activities may not exceed 20% of the NIL contract value. All compensation terms will be clearly disclosed in your agency contract prior to signing.
