- Parent or guardian phone number
- Profile photo (if uploaded)
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
Information Collected Automatically
- Profile view counts (how many times your public profile is viewed)
- Browser type, device type, and general usage data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and maintain your athlete profile and player card
- Display your profile in the public GFHR athlete directory (if you opt in)
- Process subscription payments for Elite Athlete plan
- Send you notifications about your account or NIL opportunities
- Contact you regarding intake requests or representation inquiries
- Improve the platform and develop new features
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. Information Sharing
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- Public Directory: If you opt in, your profile (name, sport, school, stats, photo) is visible to coaches and scouts browsing the directory. You can opt out at any time from your dashboard.
- Service Providers: We use Supabase (database), Stripe (payments), and Resend (email) to operate our platform. These providers are bound by their own privacy policies.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
4. Minor Athletes & Parental Consent
⚠ Important Notice for Users Under 18
GFHR Sports collects information from athletes of all ages, including high school students under 18. If you are under 18 years of age, you must have your parent or guardian's permission before creating a profile or submitting any information through this platform.
By submitting a profile or intake form on behalf of a minor athlete, the parent or guardian confirms they have reviewed and consent to the collection and use of the minor's information as described in this Privacy Policy.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verified parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted information without parental consent, please contact us immediately at info@gfhrmanagement.com.
Parent or guardian contact information collected during profile creation is used solely to facilitate communication regarding the athlete's profile and potential representation inquiries. It is never shared publicly or sold to third parties.
5. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted database storage (Supabase), secure authentication, and HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Payment information is processed exclusively through Stripe and is never stored on our servers.
While we take reasonable precautions, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.
6. Your Rights & Choices
- Directory Opt-Out: You can remove yourself from the public directory at any time from your dashboard settings.
- Profile Deletion: You can permanently delete your profile from the Danger Zone section of your dashboard.
- Data Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you by emailing info@gfhrmanagement.com.
- Data Deletion: You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting us directly.
7. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local session storage to keep you logged in and maintain your preferences. We use basic analytics to understand how the platform is used. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
